Brief Description: Lexan Instument Panel Mockup - Part 1
The Lexan Instrument panel mockup piece arrived today in good condition. In a word - BEAUTIFUL! I've been working with Nick Burns at ExperimentalAir to design the CNC panel. I used a program called Micrografx Designer 9 to layout the panel and then exported the layout in DXF format and emailed it to Nick. Nick had some great suggestions and over the course of a couple of iterations, we settled on a panel layout. He cut the first mockup panel out of .125" Lexan for trail fitting. The final 2024-T3 panel will also be out of .125".
