Brief Description:  Pitot & Static Plumbing - Part 1

I've been dreading installing the Pitot and Static lines for some reason. I just wasn't exactly sure how I was going to do it and moreover, how I was going to fit them into the AHRS/EFIS bracket because of the small spaces. I ended up using brass fittings off the AHRS ports as they are much smaller and fit pretty well intertwined with all of the various ribbon cables and what have you. I added a number of new DG clamps along the lower edge of the #2 bulkhead cross member and threaded the two plastic tubes over to the Autopilot. The outputs to the Dual AHRS ports got their respective tee fittings, and then these were connected with a second tee fitting to run over to the Autopilot. The Pitot line snaked its way down the left gear leg, though the main spar, and the out the left side onto a bulkhead fitting. The Static plumbing was done a couple of months ago and simply required cutting into the new tee fitting. I left a nice service loop on the connections to the AHRS so that the instrument panel could be pulled out part way and the connectors disconnected as necessary. Overall, it came out pretty nice, I think.
