Brief Description:  Plexiglass Canopy Installation Cam Shots - Part 01

Well, the time had finally arrived. I couldn't put it off any longer. The Plexiglass canopy had to be installed on the canopy frame. I've been dreading this task since I finished cutting the canopy quite a few months ago now. There are just so many things that can go wrong with this process. On top of that, I'd already cracked one canopy and who's to say this one would be any different?

I invited Craig over to share in the joy of the process and in hopes that he would act as a calming force should something go terribly, terribly wrong. We planned out the process well and worked slow and deliberately and I'm extremely pleased to report that we were able to not only install the canopy without any cracks, there were no new scratch added either! I really wanted to leave the protective plastic on the inside and outside, but as Craig so succinctly put it - it was like a scab that just needed to be picked off! I really wanted to see what it looked like without the plastic too, so it wasn't too hard to convince me.

Of course, after we had finished the installation, we had to take turns sitting in it with the canopy open and closed to get a *real* sense of what it was going to be like to fly this monster!

It was a very exciting evening indeed! Ever so much closer to that elusive event known as - The "Test Flight"!!

Thanks for the help, Craig!
