Brief Description:  Canopy Installation Complete - Part 1

And with the successful installation of the Plexiglass canopy, the fuselage interior is complete. I still have to have the carpet pieces sent back to the upholster for resurging of some of the edges I had to recut during the final fitting process. But other than that, everything on the inside of the plane is DONE!

I now have some fiberglass work to do around the front of the windscreen, on the fairings around the wheel pants, and piece that fits around the Vertical and Horizontal stabilizers. That's going to be a frustrating process, but we'll get though it. I'm suspecting it will take about a month to get the fiber glassing done.

While the resin setups are curing, there are a handful of other things that need to be done. For example, the fuel tank end caps need to be installed and sealed along with the fuel level senders, the dual magnometers (electronic compasses) need to be mounted and calibrated in the tail, the OAT temp probe needs to be mounted, the tail needs to be remounted and re-rigged, and I have to apply a few coats of resin to the inside and outside of the engine cowling.

Once these tasks are done, its time to move the whole project out to the hanger for final assembly and the start of initial testing including the first engine start!! How exciting!
