Brief Description: Outside Air Temperature (OAT) Probe - Part 1
The EFIS's require an OAT probe for some of their calculations. I opted to mount this transducer under the Horizontal Stabilizer. The air should be fairly stable here (no heat from exhaust) as well as shielded from direct sunlight. Installation was straightforward. I added a connector, then realized later that the way I had installed it, I would have to cut the wire to replace it. Sheeze.
I also included a couple of pictures of the OAT output display on the EFIS as well as the VP-200.
