Brief Description:  Cowling Pin Covers Redo - Part 1

The sides of the fiberglass engine cowling are held together using aircraft-grade piano hinges. To remove the cowling, you use an electric drill and carefully pull the pins out. Reassembling the cowling is done in a similar fashion. The ends of the pins, however, have a small 90 degree bend and need to be secured in some way. The original set of covers I made were a little too short, so I started over again and made ones that wrapped all the way around. I also made them out of .032 instead of .063. The pictures show the original ones and then the new ones.
