Experimented with serveral methods for cutting out strips in the blue protective plastic on the all the skins for the Tail parts. Settled on using a long, skinny tip in a Weller soldering iron tipped down at an angle almost flat with the skin. Marked 1/2" on either side of the rivet row and then used a straightedge, dragging the iron tip gently along the skin. Strips removed easially with little to no mark on the skin. Looks cool!
