Brief Description: Redesign of Radio Stack Brackets - Part 1
After some practical experience with the radio stack trays, I realized that they were a little over sized and impacted the ability to access the cables, and that they really needed some additional support to stiffen up both the instrument panel and the radios. After quite a bit of consternation, I came up with the idea of adding some nice .063" angle and tying them into the cross member using some #8 screws. The amount of solidness that these added to the panel is unbelievable! The fit is perfect and with the removal of the four #8 screws, the instrument panel should still be removable. Sweet!
