The GPS and Ethernet modules finally arrived today for the EFIS systems. They are pretty small and relatively light so that was a good sign. After trial fitting them in a few spots on the second bulkhead near the VP-200 Control Unit, I decided that there was just enough room stick them on the mount for the EFIS AHRS. I added platenuts as required and the installation came out pretty slick. Both should be very accessible for cabling and potential maintenance down the road. The best part is that both modules and their cables will be removable along with the rest of the instrument panel. The last picture shows the whole AHRS/Ethernet/GPS module sitting on top of the instrument panel. When its mounted, it will be nestled in behind the center EFIS as shown in other pictures previously.
