Brief Description:  High-Current Wiring Completed - Part 1

Well, it took a while longer than I expected, but the High-Current Backbone Wiring is complete. This includes connections to and from the battery, GPU plug, battery contactor, GPU contactor, starter contactor, Emergency Bypass breakers, VP-200 EBus and #8AWG supply feeds, Right-hand Console switches, Right-Hand Console Power Port, and secondary alternator output (though the 30amp breaker). I fabricated a 1/8" angle grounding post and riveted it with 1/2" spacing to the fuselage longeron. I attached the two #2 AWG ground wires to this and also ran a #8 AWG all the way up to the grounding tree behind the instrument panel just to be extra safe.

There are two Emergency Bypass circuits (EFIS and GPS) that utilize the simplified wiring of the Backup A/B functionality on the VP-200 CU. These work great and the VP-200 detects if the load is using power from the VP-200 or from the EB breaker. It indicates EB breaker use with a little icon next to the load label on the DU. Cool!

Next is running each of the various circuits from the VP-200 or the RH Console switch outputs to each of the loads. Should go pretty fast.
