I finished up the wiring for the Whelen strobes today. The power supply has three outputs, one for the tail strobe and one for each of the wing tip strobes. I terminated the three cables, connected them to the power supply, and then added some spiral wrap to hold them together. At the wing intersections, I left about 15" of cable and terminated it there so that the wings can be removed without having to cut the cables. Had to order some additional Molex connectors from Van's. At $3.95/ea it seems kind of expensive, but the utility of being able to easily remove the wings will be worth the extra cost of the connectors. The last picture of the strobes running simply just doesn't do the actual brightness of these babies justice. Wow.
One more of the million little projects is now complete...
