Brief Description:  Matt Tries Out Passenger Seat - Part 1

I tried out the rear seat and it is REALLY comfortable! I wish the front seat was as comfortable. I don't even need to add any extra lumbar support for the rear. Good as designed.

Mounting the entertainment LCD on the back of the pilot's seat isn't exactly a prime location as it turns out. With respect to the passengers seating position and their eye-line, the display would have to be angled out from the back of the pilot's seat at least 30 degrees to be visible. There really isn't much room from the passenger's chest to the back of the pilot's seat, so having something else between them is not a good idea.

So, I'm back to the idea of putting it into the pilot's headrest. Aero Classics, the upholstering company, said that it was probably too small for mounting a display in, but I think I'll be the judge of that. I wrote them some email this morning and indicated that I would like to look into increasing the head rest size slightly if the LCD wouldn't fit into the stock unit. I sent them a couple of pictures of the LCD to give them a better idea of what is required.
