The replacement front seat floor skin arrived on Saturday and so I rebuilt the floor. Since I wanted to make the angle of the pilot's seat back somewhat adjustable, I added three hinges each separated by about 1". As you can see from the sequence of three photos, it definitely changes the angle of the seat back. The problem, however, seems that it impacts the position of the bottom cushion, pushing it forward by 1 or 2 inches respectively. This makes the cushion overhang the seat ramp by an equal amount and tends to slightly interfere with the full-aft stick moment. I could notch the cushion, but I'm still undecided. The other down side is that moving the seat back forward decreases the amount of leg room which is kind of at a premium. I'll just have to think about it all for a while...
