Brief Description: Installed Electric Aileron Trim System
The electric aileron trim is a rather ingenious design by Van's that uses two springs to apply equal back pressure on the left and right aileron stick forces. These two springs are then connected via a push rod to the servo. The servo is moved back and forth causing more or less pressure on each of the springs respectively. The only down side is the added back pressure on the aileron forces. Its really pretty light, actually, though and won't be really noticeable. Cool! One more thing done...
