So, this afternoon I tackled the installation of the top gear fairings. I had to add some #8 and #6 rivnuts to the fuselage and gear bolt door, but over all the installation went very smoothly. The right fairing needed some extra sanding and fitting to get just right, but the left one only needed finish sanding. Amazing! I completed the whole installation including both the left and right fairings in one afternoon. If I would have had to make these from scratch, it would have been at least a month!
As you can see from the pictures, they truly look beautiful! Whew, one more job done!
