Brief Description: Manifold Pressure Engine Connection - Part 1
The Manifold Pressure sensor measures the amount of power output from the engine. Due to the sensitive nature of the transducer, it is mounted on the inside of the cabin area. A fitting is installed in the firewall and a connection from the firewall to one of the cylinders is made with a special hose. The MP sensor was mounted back in March when the avionics were installed. I just had to add the connection to the engine and calibrate the input on the EIS-4000 to match the calibration data on the transducer and it was good to go.
