The newly resculpted front seat arrived from Classic Aero Designs. I had hacked and cut and taped the foam on the original seat to better suit my physic such as it is. What I ended up with was pretty ugly, but the pressure points were good. I sent my handy work back to Classic and asked that they just start over from scratch and use my handy work as a template to build a better seat for my inclinations. Also, this time completely out of Temperfoam.
Wow, was I ever surprised yesterday with the results! What a work of art. The best part is that it exactly hits all of the right pressure points. I sat in the plane for about an hour and a half last night playing with the EFISs and other stuff just to see how the long term comfort was. I'm extremely happy to report that it is now excellent! After that period of time, I didn't feel at all uncomfortable and felt like I could sit there quite a bit longer.
The reworked rear seat, this time completely out of Temperfoam, along with my specially designed front and back arm rests are suppose to arrive next week. Assuming they meet my requirements, I'll ship everything back including the new front head rest for all black leather upholstery! Yahoo!
