Brief Description:  Carpet Patterns - Front Rudder Pedal Area - Part 2

Next I'll email all of the CAD drawings to the upholstery shop up in Oregon and get their feedback. Hopefully they can just print them out and cut the carpet. I have read on the Internet where you can get carpet CNC cut, which would be totally cool. I'm going to have to ask the shop if they can do this type of work or if then can maybe have it done. CNC (computer controlled cutting machine) would yield a perfectly cut piece of carpet, that could be recut exactly in the future if necessary (e.g. if someone barfs on it.)

The upholstery shop bonds the Velco "loops" material to the back of the carpet. You can then either stick, glue, or rivet the Velco "hooks" to strategic places all around the cabin area to keep the carpet in place. Should be pretty sweet when all is said and done.

Whew, did I mention I'm glad this phase is done...?
